The short answer is yes. You do sign an agreement to rent your unit, however, the agreement lays out the terms of the rental and does not bind you to a specific length of stay. By signing the agreement you acknowledge that you were explained how the rental works, including the rules of the facility, that your rent must be paid on time, the penalties for late payment, etc.

We require a credit card and picture identification (either a driver’s license, passport, or government ID card). You will also be asked for your current address, phone number, and email.

Having up-to-date contact information for every tenant is one of the ways Passion Safe Storage can deter crime at our facility. It is your responsibility to ensure that we have your current information on file. If it is discovered that the information we have on file for you is inaccurate, your gate access may be denied until your file is updated.

Ultimately, you are responsible for the items you store at Passion Safe Storage. Insurance purchase is mandatory at the time of rental (prices vary). You must purchase insurance through Passion Safe to store with us.

At Passion Safe Storage we are committed to providing you with as secure a storage experience as we possibly can. Our facility uses barbed-wire perimeter fencing, motion-sensor LED lighting , a computerized access control system, High Definition video surveillance, and individual door alarms on every unit that are only disabled when you use your unique access card. We also ensure that every unit rental receives a free high quality disk lock for the unit. This ensures that every unit looks the same from the outside, and no unit looks like an easy target.

High quality disk locks are sold at Passion Safe Storage, and no one else will have a key to that lock. You can purchase additional locks in a variety of sizes and types in our retail area.

When you receive your free lock with your unit rental, it will be given to you in it’s original unopened packaging. That way you can be sure that no one has a copy of the key to your unit except you.

If it’s during office hours you can speak to a manager on duty. Each building is equipped with an intercom that will allow you to speak directly with the office. We will do our very best to answer each intercom call quickly, and help you out as best we can.

No. When you sign your rental agreement you will be shown your rental rate and told when rent is due. We do not send invoices under most circumstances.

Have you ever seen Storage Wars? When a tenant doesn’t pay their rent the only recourse a storage facility has is to place a lien on their stored belongings and sell them in a unit auction.
Let us be clear on this though… the last thing we want to do is cut your lock and sell your stuff.
Your rent is expected to be paid in full on or before your due date. Late rent payments will be assessed fees and penalties, culminating with the storage facility’s legal right to sell the contents of your unit if payment has not been made in full after 90 days.
If your rent is one day late you will receive an automatic reminder email or text message and you won’t have access through the main gate. At five days late your unit will be over-locked and the process to lien your unit will begin.
